Rock Princess

In this tutorial I used the tube “Emma” by
Verymany.
You need a license to use this tube, available at

I used a gorgeous kit called “Rock Princess” by
I loved the juicy colouring of this kit!
You will find it at

I used the free plugin by Tormentia

You will also need a mask, I used mask 1, also from

I used the font

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 85, blur 5.

Put the Criss Cross plugin in your plugins folder, if you have Filters Unlimited it will need to be imported into that, check out my Tips and Tricks page for more info.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Copy paper 7, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.

Paste element 25 as a new layer, resize 70%, position at the top on the right and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 25b as a new layer, resize also 70%, position at the bottom on the left and apply the drop shadow.

Paste frame 3c as a new layer,  resize 60%,  rotate 20 degrees to the left and place in position.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 15, make a new layer below it and fill with black.  Paste your tube, or close up if you have one, as a new layer and position in the frame resizing as needed, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  I used the close up resized 65%.  Lower the opacity on the tube to around 50 and merge it down onto the black layer, then apply the Criss Cross filter on the default settings.

Paste your main tube, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized this tube 40%.

Paste element 1 as a new layer,  resize 80% and mirror, drag below the tube and position to the right of her, apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 10 as a new layer, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 32 as a new layer and bring to the top, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 21, resize 80% and mirror.  Place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 3 as a new layer, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 9b as a new layer,  resize 90% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow,

Paste element 40 as a new layer, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 5 as a new layer, resize 65% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Princess 1 and Rock 1 word art as new layers, resize each 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers now and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste element 8 as a new layer, resize 85% and apply the drop shadow.  Drag the element down until its just above the black and white star layers at the bottom and duplicate it.  Close off the copy for the moment and erase all the part that shows on the right of the tube on the original layer.  Open the copy, drag it up until it’s just below the main tube and erase the large part on the left that is now duplicated.  You can move the pieces about to position them better.

Paste element 23 as a new layer, resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 46 as a new layer, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 19 as a new layer, resize 35% and rotate 20 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste element 52 as a new layer, resize 70% and place in position behind the tube.

When you are all done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
