In this tutorial I used the art of
PinUp Toons.
You need a license to use PinUp Toon’s art, available at

I used a beautiful kit called “Bearly Spring” by
I love the vibrant colours in this kit, it can be purchased at

You will also need a mask, I used mask 0120 by Simone at

I used the font

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page before starting if this is the first tutorial of mine you have followed.

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and fill with white,

Copy Paper-9, make a new layer on your canvas select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask. Resize 90%.

Paste Frame_4 as a new layer, resize 55% and move up a little.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand, expand the selection by 10 and make a new layer below it, copy the paper again and paste it into the selection, deselect.   We will come back to this.

Paste your tube as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 85%.

Paste Element_25 as a new layer, resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_32 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_20 as a new layer, flip, resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_20 as a new layer, resize 40% and position in front of the bottles, duplicate, resize the duplicate, drag the duplcate down and position below element 25, apply the drop shadow to both copies.

Paste Element_34 as a new layer on the top, mirror, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_17 as a new layer, mirror, resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_5 as a new layer, resize 65, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_3 as a new layer, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_21 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layer positions and make any necessary adjustments.

Paste your tube again, drag it down below the frame, duplicate it and mirror the duplicate, resizing as needed, place your tubes in position either side of the main tube.   Select the interior of the frame and expand the selection as before, then hit delete on each tube to remove the excess, deselect.  Lower the opacity of these tubes to around 20.  I resized my tube 90% this time.   Activate the paper layer below the tube and apply the Blinds texture with the settings in my screenshot below.  Repeat the blinds texture with Horizontal checked.

Paste Element_36 as a new layer, resize 70% and place in position just below the main tube.

Set your background to any colour that will show up on your tag and close the foreground off, click on your topmost layer, open the Impact font and type the word spring.  Size depends on what version of Paint Shop you are using but you can stretch the word out to fit nicely then convert it to a raster layer.  Select the text, float and defloat it, duplicate the mask layer and drag it above the text, position it so it fills the text, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect.  Delete the original text layer.  Apply an Inner Bevel to the mask filled text, apply the Blinds texture with both settings as before, apply the drop shadow and lower the opacity to around 80.

Paste Element_33 as a new layer, resize 33%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_52 as a new layer, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Paste Element_18 as a new layer, resize 20%, duplicate and mirror the duplicate, place in position and apply the drop shadow to each.

When you are done, crop your tag, add your copyright information and text, then export on a transparent background as a png.
