I used two masks in my tag, masks 79 and 89 by

I used the font

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page if this is the first time you have followed one of my tutorials, thank you.

Unless otherwise stated, I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 85, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 by 600 pixels and fill with white.

Open Paper5-GI_DarkOcean and copy, make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection and apply mask 79.

Now open and copy Paper130-GI_DarkOcean, make another layer on your canvas and paste it into the selection, deselect and apply mask 89.

Open Frame1-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 55% and move up a little.  Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand,  expand the selection by 20 and make a new layer below it.  Open and copy Paper4-GI_DarkOcean and paste it into the selection, deselect.  Apply a drop shadow to the frame of vertical and horizontal 0, opacity 100 blur 10.

Open Ship-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 35%, position in the frame and apply the drop shadow (remember to change the settings).

Open Ocean-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, place in position and erase any that shows outside the frame.

Close off your background layer and both mask layers and merge visible then re-open the closed layers.

Open Mesh-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 60%, drag below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Wire-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Grass-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Leaves1-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 50% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube, paste as a new layer and bring to the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I used the copy of the tube with the tail resized 75%.  When I had the rest of my elements in place, I dabbed around those hard edges with my erasor size set to 50 and opacity to 10 and blended them out.

Open Wheel-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Mirror, resize 40%, drag below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Staff-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%, place in position, erase the part that shows below the tube and apply the drop shadow.

Open WordArt1-GI_DarkOcean, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.   Resize 80% and place in position.

Have a recap with your layers now and get them better into position.

Open Candles-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, place in position below the tube layer and apply the drop shadow.

Open Twig-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 70%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Bottle-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Box-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Wood-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  Again, I  blended the hard edge on the right out using my erasor.

Open Sand-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Place in position on the left, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and move it over to the right, apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open Lamp-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Ribbon-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Shells-GI_DarkOcean, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Mirror, resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open DriedFloral-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 45%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Vine-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65% and rotate 90 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Flower-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.    Mirror, resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  Erase some of the stalk so it looks like it’s twisted around Vine.

Open Shell1-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Shell2-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Resize 10%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Crows-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check your layers again and blend out those hard edges on your tube if you need to. Change the background to black and check them again.   I also put Stone_GI_DarkOcean, reized 25% below the tube on the right hand side where I blended out that rock on the right of the tube.

Open Bubbles-GI_DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.   Mirror, resize 35%, position immediately above the tube layer and apply the drop shadow.

Open Cloud-GI-DarkOcean and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and duplicate.  Position both copies along the bottom of the tube like mist.

Check your tag again on a white and a black background and when you are done, crop it being careful not to crop into the masks, add your copyright information and text, then export as a png.
