About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! I am Vivienne, living in the UK and married with a son who now lives in Perth, Australia and a daughter who has given me two gorgeous grandsons! Paint Shop has been my hobby for more years than I can remember and I love making tags. I have always loved doing tutorials written by others and a couple of years ago started writing them myself. As well as tag tutorials, I also have a Tips and Tricks page where you will find tutorials on basic Paint Shop techniques. I hope you enjoy my blog and have fun with my tutorials. Please be sure also to check out the Tag Gallery and see some of the awesome results to the tutorials!

Please check out my “About my tutorials” page before starting, thank you.

I used a drop shadow of vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 80, blur 10.

Open a new transparent canvas 700 x 575 and fill with white.

Open Paper11-GI_Epiphany and copy.  Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.   Resize your canvas width to 650 keeping the mask centred.

Open WordArtPlain-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Film-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65%, rotate 10 degrees to the left and place in position.   Using your freehand selection tool on point to point, draw a selection around the film like my screenshot below.

Open Paper12-GI_Epiphany and copy, make a new layer below the film and paste the paper into the selection, deselect.   Apply the drop shadow to the frame and merge it down onto the paper.

Open MoonwGlow-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 40%, drag down below the merged layer, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Lace-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 75% and position on the right, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the left and down a bit, apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open your tube, paste as a new layer and bring to the top, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.   I resized my tube 75%.

Open Leaves2-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 45%, drag down below the tube and position on the right, duplicate, mirror the duplicate and move it over to the left, apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open Flowers-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.    Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Grass-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Mirror, resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Gravestone2-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open Cloud-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 75% and place in position.

Open MemoriesMask-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 55% and place in position on the tombstone like I have in my tag, erasing what  is too far out and apply the drop shadow.

Open Sign-GI_Epiphany and paste as a new layer.   Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open FoliageGrass-GI_Epiphany, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.   Resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
