In this tutorial I used the art of Keith Garvey.
You need a license to use Keith's art.
I have a license from PSP Tubes Emporium for this tube,
it was included in the store's Christmas gift last year
and is now available from Keith's store here.
The kit used was custom made for the tube by
and is called "Sexy Xmas",
you can get it here
(currently with 40% discount).
You will also need a mask, I used Insatiable Dreams mask 565, here.
Font is Pharmacy, here.
As always I remind you to sharpen up your elements after resizing as otherwise your tag will look a little blurry; check out my Tips and Tricks page for more info.
I used a drop shadow throughout of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 5.
Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.
Open one of the papers and copy, I used sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_pp2. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask. Resize 75%.
Open sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_frame 2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% and move over a bit to the left.
Select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand the selection by 20, make a new layer below it and fill with a dark grey, I used #424242, deselect. We will come back to this later.
Open sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_tree and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_cluster and paste as a new layer. Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_bow 2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open sb_pmt_sexy-xmas_bells and paste as a new layer. Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize as needed, drag down below the cluster, place in position and apply the drop shadow. I used the half body tube resized 80%.
Open sb_pmt_zipper flower 1 and paste as a new layer. Resize 60%, drag down below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Open sb_pmt_zipper flower 2 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.
Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.
Open your tube again or the close up if you have one and paste as a new layer between the frame and the grey layer. Resize as needed and position nicely in the frame (I used the close up resized 70%). Again, select the interior of the frame with your magic wand and expand it by 20, invert the selection, activate the tube and hit delete to remove the excess, deselect. Go to Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds and apply using my settings in the screenshot below, then lower the opacity of the tube to around 70 and apply the drop shadow to the frame.
Again check the positions of your layers, when you are happy, crop your tag and add your copyright information and text, then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, you can contact me here. As always, I would love to see your result and include it in the gallery!
