Breaking

In this tutorial I used the “Breaking Lily Collection”.
This is a special collection which comprises the tube “Breaking Lily”
by Zindy S.D. Nielsen and matching kit by
You can get the collection from Zindy's shop, here
(half price during the month of September, the normal price of just a tube!).

You will also need a mask, I used Monti’s circle mask, here.

Font is Dreamer One, here

You will need to sharpen your elements after resizing/rotating as otherwise they will be a little blurry; for more info, check out my Tips and Tricks page.

I used a drop shadow throughout of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 75, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 650 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.

Open CBJ_BLPaper4 and copy.  Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Resize 85%.

Open CBJ_BLCloud and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and move up very slightly.

Open CBJ_BLGlitter2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%, again, move up slightly, duplicate, mirror and flip the duplicate and move down,  apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open CBJ_BLScatter and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30% and move up and to the left, duplicate and move the duplicate over to the right. Apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open CBJ_BLWrapFrm and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 45% and apply the drop shadow.

Open the tube and paste as a new layer.  Resize 80%, position in the frame and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLLeaves and paste as a new layer.  Resize 55% and rotate 110 degrees to the left, drag down below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLFlowers and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 75% and position so the flowers show on the right hand side of the tube.  Duplicate this layer and move over so they show on the left hand side.  Erase any of the stalks that show at the bottom and apply the drop shadow to both layers.

Open CBJ_BLIvy and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_MBLHrtLaced and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and rotate 20 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLHeart2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50% and rotate 10 degrees to the left, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLLeaves again, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Resize 55% and rotate 5 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLPaperFlower and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLPaperFlower2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLLily1 and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 15%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLJewelBorder and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLJewel2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLRibbon2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open CBJ_BLDragonfly and paste as a new layer.  Resize 25% and rotate 30 degrees to the left, duplicate and mirror the duplicate. Place both dragonflies in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments, when you are happy, crop your tag and add your copyright information and text, then export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, you can email me here. As always, I would love to see your result and include it in the gallery!
