Yes Miss?

In this tutorial I used the art of Verymany.
You need a license to use Verymany’s art,
available here.

I used an awesome kit called “Emo Schoolgirl” by
This is a great kit and the bundle comprising the kit,
alpha, glitter pack and 3 clusters is free with a purchase of
$5 from the store!
You can get it here.

You will also need a mask, I used Weescotslass’ mask 84, here.

Font is Schoolbell, here.

Remember to sharpen up your elements after resizing/rotating otherwise they will be a little blurry.  Check out my Tips and Tricks page for more info.

I used a drop shadow throughout of vertical and horizontal 2, opacity 80, blur 5.

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.

Open PDS_ES-paper2 and copy.  Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, deselect and apply the mask.  Resize 87%.

Open PDS_ES-card1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-frame3 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-leaves2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60%, drag down below the card, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-rubberband1, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Resize 56%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-leaves1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 60% and rotate 105 degrees to the right, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-pin1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 20%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your tube and paste as a new layer, resize as needed, place in position and apply the drop shadow.  I resized my tube 60% and erased the bottom part.

Open PDS_ES-crayon1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 45%, drag down below the tube, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-crayon2, resize 45% also, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-crayon3, resize the same, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-flower3 and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-labelholder1, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-button1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 65%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-crown1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-flower5 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-flower4 and paste as a new layer.  Mirror, resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-flower2 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 50%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-books1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 40%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-ribbon1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 55%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-pencil1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 35%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.   Use your oblong selection tool to draw a selection around the part of the pencil that needs to go below the loop of ribbon, cut that section out, paste it as a new layer, drag it down below the ribbon and place in position.

Open PDS_ES-apple1 and paste as a new layer.  Resize 30%, drag down so its between the pencil and the ribbon, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open PDS_ES-clip1, paste as a new layer and bring to the top.  Resize 25%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Check the positions of your layers and make any necessary adjustments.  When you are happy, crop your tag and add your copyright information.

Pick a colour from your tag and add your text.  Use the colour changer tool to change the colours of some of the letters (if you don’t know how to do this, I have a mini tutorial on my Tips and Tricks page), apply an inner bevel with the settings in my a screenshot below, rotate 10 degrees to the left (remember to sharpen), place in position and apply the drop shadow.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, please email me here and don’t forget to send me your result! I love to see them and put them up in the gallery!
