Trouble

For this tutorial you will need a close up tube and part body tube.
I am again using the fantastic art of
Screaming Demons.
You need a license to use Screaming’s art,
you can get one here.

I am using another awesome kit called “Trouble” by
You can get the kit here.
Thank you Cora!

You will also need a mask, I used Vix mask 349, here.

Font used is Rat Infested Mailbox,
this is a free font, you can get it here.

Don’t forget to sharpen your elements after resizing and rotating, essential for a good looking tag (adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask – radius and clipping 5, strength 50).

Open a new transparent canvas 600 by 600 pixels and flood fill with white.

Open one of the papers and copy, I used pd-pp-07. Make a new layer on your canvas, select all, paste the paper into the selection, de-select and apply the mask. Resize 85%.

Open pd-frame-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and rotate 40 degrees to the left. Select the interior of both parts of the frame and expand the selection by 3. Open one of the papers and copy, I used the same paper as the mask layer. Paste the paper as a new layer below the frame, invert the selection and hit delete to remove the excess. Do not de-select.

Open your close up tube, copy and paste as a new layer. Resize as required and position nicely inside the frame. When you are happy with the position, hit delete to remove the excess and lower the opacity to around 50. Go back to the frame layer and apply a drop shadow, vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 70, blur 10. Close off your background and mask layers and merge visible, you can then re-open the closed layers.

Open pd-arrow and paste as a new layer. Resize 75%, place in position and apply the drop shadow.

Open your main tube and paste as a new layer. Resize as required, position her coming out of the arrow and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-metal-mat and paste as a new layer. Resize 55%, drag down so its just above the mask layer, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-star-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, place in position on top of the mat and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-flower-03 and paste as a new layer. Duplicate and close out the duplicate for now. Resize 75%, move down so is showing at the bottom, right hand side of the arrow and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-flower-02 and paste as a new layer. Resize 70%, place in position on top of the last flower and apply the drop shadow.

Open pd-mesh-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 50% and rotate 90 degrees to the left. Place in position and apply a drop shadow, vertical and horizontal 1, opacity 80, blur 5.

Open your duplicate of pd-flower-03, resize 80%, place in position so its showing at the top, right hand side and apply the original drop shadow, vertical and horizontal 5, opacity 70, blur 10.

Open pd-ribbon-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 55% and drag up so its between the arrow and the main tube layer, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-flower-01, paste as a new layer and bring to the top. Mirror, resize 50%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-button-01 and paste as a new layer. Resize 80%, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Open pd-star-01 again and paste as a new layer. Resize 70% again, place in position and apply the last drop shadow.

Check the position of all your elements and adjust if necessary. Go back to the arrow layer and erase a little so the bar from the frame goes over the top of it instead of below it.

Crop your tag and resize if required. Add your copyright information and text and export as a jpeg with compression set to 5 or on a transparent background as a png.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, if you have any questions, please email me here. I would love to see your result and post it on the gallery!
